McDowall Butchers Ltd whose shop is at 191 George Street has won a Diamond award and the Scottish Champion for a Speciality Steak Pie in the 2017 Scottish Craft Butchers Steak Pie, Speciality Pie and Mince Round Evaluation.
Not only did they win the best in class but also picked up a Gold award for their Mince Round and a Silver Award for Traditional Steak Pie.
