| Winner of the 2007
Scottish Pork Sausage Champion was Steven Brown of R Brown & Son, 71
King Street, Stenhousemuir. Steven was successful in his very first
venture into competition.
He said the success came with a family
recipe that was handed down from his father and grandfather who jointly
founded the business back in 1968. Steven has worked in the business from
the age of 15 and now at the age of 31 he has the responsibility for the
employment of two full time and four part time members of staff.

| Steven has by his own
admission "tinkered" with the pork sausage recipe and he was
delighted to be crowned Scottish Champion at the Scottish Meat Trade Fair
in May 2007.
He hopes this win has come at just the
right time since he has plans to relocate in the near future to be right
beside a new superstore in a new development in Stenhousemuir.
Steven won the East of Scotland title and went on to beat the rest of an
entry of over 80 pork sausages from all over Scotland. He was presented
with his trophy by Noel Dawson of sponsors, Lucas Ingredients.
