2009 SPECIALITY STEAK PIE EVALUATION

John Hill is presented his Scottish Cup from David Mooney of sponsors William Sword

Apple was the magic ingredient that ensureda Steak Pie from Dunblane butcher John Hill savoured sweet success in this year's Scottish Butchers Speciality Steak Pie Competition. When the 2009 winners were announced it was revealed that his Steak and Sweet Apple pie had taken the trick to win the best Speciality Steak Pie in Scotland.

John was presented with his trophy and prize by David Mooney, Wm Sword Ltd in his shop at High Street, Dunblane on Friday 9 October 2009.
