Chief Veterinary Officer (Scotland),

Mr Hall is currently Veterinary Head of International Animal Health at DEFRA. After graduating from the University of Cambridge in 1984, Mr Hall spent six years in mixed practice in Devon and Gloucestershire. He joined the State Veterinary Service in 1990.

Dr Mike Lamont, Acting Chief Veterinary Officer (Scotland) has worked with Simon in the past and they are all looking forward to him taking up his new employment with us.

Professor Charles Milne left the post to become Director of the Food Standards Agency in Scotland.
