Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) – Health & Safety Advisor Update

During the current COVID-19 virus outbreak, we have put together a possible self assessment risk assessment for your employees to complete.

Remember to ensure that employees know the symptoms to be aware of.
1. New unexpected and persistent dry cough
2. Unusual high temperature.
3. excessive breathlessness or new tightness in chest

Follow the guidelines as published by the National Health Service.
1. Restrict travel to urgent necessary requirements
2. Wash hands regularly [approximately 20 second duration] with soap and water.
3. Use sanitising hand gel if unable to use soap and water.
4, Wipe hard surfaces with appropriate wipes
5. Try to maintain a personal space of 1 to 2 metres
6. Self isolate if the experience any of the published symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient.
7. Restrict group meetings, use conference call procedures if available.
8. Allow staff to work from home if practical
