In addition to the information provided in inf02, the Commission confirms that the meat in question concerns meat from the offspring of a cloned animal. Therefore, the Commission considers that there is no measure to take relating to this meat from the United Kingdom.

According to the European Food Safety Authority, this meat is absolutely not different from meat from conventional animals and is fit for human consumption.
