1. UK Steering Group are looking at evaluation of Scores on the Doors schemes. Scottish schemes is not designed to reduce incidences of food poisoning and it was felt that evaluation should only consider consumer awarness.
2. The Eatwell website pages that will display UK results were demonstrated. There were several constructive criticisms taken forward.
3. Lord Young report expected on Food Safety (England only) in early October.
4. Discussion on internet sales from a manufacturer led to conclusion that these businesses would be outside the scheme.
5. 50% of local authorities will have launched by end of November representing 82% of the population. Currently six Scottish local authorities have no plans to progress with any kind of scheme namely:-

North Lanarkshire
Falkirk
Orkney
Shetland
West Lothian
