Food Standards Agency's salt campaign

The next phase of the salt campaign will be launched in the week commencing 5 October 2009. The campaign will be covered throughout the UK by a wide range of TV and media networks. It will build on the messages from previous campaigns and encourage consumers to check the labels and compare products, in order to choose the lower salt option.

The campaign message will reflect that most of the salt we eat is in everyday foods such as bread, cereal, ketchup, soup and sauces. More information will be available on their website soon.
