HACCP Review Forms

The review, checking and updating of your HACCP should be ongoing. The purpose of the review is twofold. Firstly, upon implementation of a HACCP it should be verified that it is working as intended. On a regular basis it should be confirmed that monitoring of CCP's is taking place and that control is being maintained.

Secondly, the review should verify and validate that the HACCP, as designed, will ensure the safety of food.
The hazard analysis identification of CCP's and control procedure should be reviewed on a periodic basis (e.g. annually) and whenever a change occurs in the operation, which may affect food safety (e.g. purchase of new equipment).

Reviews should cover:

– Any checks carried out to verify the effectiveness of controls
– The result of HACCP audits
– Any food safety problems, which have occurred (including customer complaints and EHO actions).
– Records of CCP monitoring. – Any changes to product formulation or processes,
Premises layout, packaging, cleaning/disinfect ion,
Staffing levels/responsibilities, storage and distribution.
– Any new products
