McAusland Crawford

Allan McAusland founded the business now known as McAusland Crawford, in 1973, initially operating from premises in Hillington Industrial Estate between Paisley and Glasgow.

The new company quickly built a fine reputation for quality and customer service, supplying Butcher's sundries, seasonings and casings to the Scottish Market.

'Allan McAusland and Son' have always blended their own seasonings and as a direct result of this policy, coupled with the acquisition of 'Crawford Skins' in 1993, the business name was changed to 'McAusland Crawford' while the blending side of the company was branded 'Macspice Limited'.

Now based in the state-of-the-art factory premises with 22 employees in Paisley, the McAusland Crawford operation reflects the high demands of today's food manufacturing industry and is fully HACCP accredited, supplying spices and flavourings to all sectors of the industry.

Today's vibrant company is proud to be an independently owned business and continues to enjoy the support of a wide range of manufacturing clients. With the help of our efficient and hard-working staff, they aim to continue to
enhance their reputation amongst their existing clients and so attract future customers.
