National Black Pudding Day 18 March 2024
National Black Pudding Day will be held on 18th March. We would encourage you take part by promoting black pudding and showcasing products you make with it within your shop and on social media.

For our part we will have a prepared press release about the day and the official search for the Scottish Black Pudding Champion will be launched. We have attached logos and slides for you to use.
Meat and Dairy Report – Food Standards Scotland
FSS yesterday publish its report which models the impact of reductions in meat and dairy consumption on nutrient intakes and disease risk.
FSS commissioned research from the University of Edinburgh to understand the impact of achieving recommendations for reducing meat and dairy intakes made by the Climate Change Committee. The research uses data on dietary intakes collected in adults, as part of the Scottish Health Survey (SHeS) in 2021.
