Introduction to Scotland’s HFSS regulations webinar

 May 12th 10am – 11am

Scotland’s Food and Drink manufacturers, want to know more about the implementation and impact of the upcoming HFSS regulations for Scotland?  Sign up to the Introduction to Scotland’s HFSS regulations webinar to learn more about the regulations, product categories in and out of scope, how to calculate your nutrient profile model score (NPM)  and Q&A session.

With less than 6 months to go until the 1st of October 2026 implementation date it is essential that Scotland’s retail supply chain is ready for the impact of the HFSS regulations.

Funding Support

FDF Scotland’s Reformulation for Health Programme has launched a new grant fund of up to £5,000 to help SME food and drink manufacturers make products healthier and prepare for the Food (Promotion and Placement) (Scotland) Regulations 2025, which come into force on 1 October 2026. Under the Regulations, products classified as High in Fat, Sugar or Salt (HFSS) will face restrictions on location‑based promotions, multibuy offers, and some seasonal and provenance promotions.

The funding can be used to support reformulation costs – including trial ingredients, specialist advice, nutritional software or laboratory analysis – and can be accessed alongside the programme’s free technical support. Applications close on 31 May 2026.
