Abattoir services survey- June 2023
We're asking producers of all sizes to share their views in our survey to help build an understanding of the regional and national demand for abattoir and butchery services across Scotland. The survey, developed with the steering group of the Small Producers Pilot Fund, supported by The Scottish Government, is live throughout June.

A survey to understand the demand for abattoir and butchery services has been developed with the steering group of the Small Producers Pilot Fund. Supported by the Scottish Government and Fife Council, the survey aims to gain an understanding of both regional and national demand for these services to provide a strategic understanding of the issues across Scotland.
The survey is targeting producers of all sizes who consign animals themselves to abattoirs and it's open to any producer who would like to use abattoir services but currently does not.
The survey will run throughout June and is being delivered by SAOS

Scottish Craft Butchers Singles Golf Competition
• Tea/Coffee & hot roll on arrival.
• 1 Round Golf – First Tee off time 12:30
• 2 Course Meal
• First 28 entries only accepted.
• Entry Fee £60.00 payable in advance.
• In the event of a tie inward half is compared first.
• Competitors will be notified of tee-off times in advance.
• Presentation of prizes will take place after the meal:
Singles Winner, Silent Pairs, Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin.

World Charcuterie Awards 2023
Scottish Craft Butchers are sponsors of the World Charcuterie Awards this year.
We would encourage members to consider entries to the awards.

Judging is now scheduled to take place at Billingsgate Kitchens from Wednesday 23rd – Friday 25th August 2023, full details to follow.
