The attached file uses a grid and weekly figures from Quality Meat Scotland to establish a fair market price and a premium to the farmer if his beef classifies and weighs correctly.
Payment basis price is based on the QMS average price from the previous week to slaughter.

Only Heifer beef is accepted in this example, Bullocks only with previous agreement, no Cow or Bull Beef will be accepted.
Remember that the deadweight prices quoted on QMS website will be based on a severe trim to UK Spec before weighing.
