Case Study: Scottish Meat Training

The assessors from Scottish Meat Training undertook a comprehensive training programme through SMAS (Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service) in order that they could deliver the new Food Manufacturing Excellence (FME) qualification to our clients.

We could see first hand how FME could be utilised we carried out the process in-house at Scottish Meat Training. We are now anticipate saving over £40,000 in costs in 2016 and our turnaround from completion of qualification to certification has been cut from an average of 100 to 28 days

We were amazed at how easy it was to cut costs and increase productivity without having any detrimental impact on the quality of our training programmes.
